One of the t hings that you can add is an essay or to its broadest sense, an academic paper. However, you must carefully consider the format in which you do this. You may want to have a general essay that you have to submit to several different organizations.Learn as much as you can about the company you are applying for. Writing a Resume - Things to Keep in Mind When Writing a Resume ArticleWriting a resume article for your job hunt has never been easier than it is right now. With the multitude of online resumes that are available and the increasing popularity of using them to enhance your employment hunt, the idea of writing your own resume isn't that far-fetched at all.Whether you're looking for a job in advertising, banking, health care, or another field, a resume is a very important document that you should use. It is a way for employers to read your resume, make a decision as to whether or not you will be a good fit for their company, and most importantly, how your resume will relate to their own job needs. Your resume should not only have the basic information that is necessary to ensure that employers have enough infor mation about you before making a decision as to whether or not to hire you. You also need to include some personal details that would be most appealing to employers. For example, if you work as a photographer, your resume should list you as such, or at least highlight any pictures that you've taken.Next, you want to make sure that you write a resume that will stand out from the crowd. This can be done through incorporating certain keywords, using a professional font style, and including a contact page in the bottom portion of the resume. These sections should be written in such a way that they would make sense to employers and would also be easy to understand. For example, the keywords in the 'Qualifications' section should be listed in order of importance; wit h the first two keywords being the most important. Similarly, the title should be in the first paragraph and is also listed in order of importance. Finally, writing a resume article is a very important task because of how it will help you land that dream job. A Motivational Note From Our Founder, Anna Runyan - Classy Career Girl
A Motivational Note From Our Founder, Anna Runyan At the point when I was in third grade, I began a Save the Earth Club. By center school, I was sorting out nourishment for the destitute, instructing Sunday school, and visiting nearby nursing homes. As a youngster, I was driving anything I could. I was energetic about youth in government, our secondary school safety belt challenge, and driving church crucial. And afterward school occurred. I concentrated abroad, got straight A's, worked three entry level positions and was totally confounded about what I wanted to be the point at which I grew up. I figured I did everything right except felt stuck and confounded. So I accepted the principal position that went along. I worked for a top counseling organization for a long time. I ascended the company pecking order. I voyaged all around the nation. I had an effect. I was tested. Yet, I was as yet despondent, confounded and stuck. At that point something changed. I began a blog, sold an online course (before I even made it) and discovered my enthusiasm. I decided to compose and educate about what I adored. It didn't make a difference what I was instructing; I simply cherished sharing my insight with others. On a normal day, I would get up right on time, blog, go to my day job and then educate around evening time. Its magnificence is this. I was making gradual steps and flawed move each and every day motivated by different books, classes, sites, and mentors I was working with. I was finding out about my motivation, interests, and improving my wellbeing and life balance. At that point, I had this light second. The present eager women thrive in a community, supporting each other to arrive at our objectives and dreams. For what reason did I need to look such huge numbers of spots (and pay such a lot of cash) to discover the help and training that I needed in my profession and life? In the event that life is about equalization, for what reason wasn't there ONE spot that decent all that I required for my vocation achievement, joy, wellbeing and life FOR me? Why couldn't this be in one spot for this occupied, tasteful mom? I figure it can. That is the reason I began CCG. There's a insurgency that commends the equalization of work, wellbeing, self-improvement, magnificence, parenthood, design, cash, food, travel, and way of life. Some state it's incomprehensible. All things considered, I happen to think that anything is conceivable. Our people group may run from youthful experts to second vocation changers, from quick climbing corporate ladies to domain building business visionaries. We as a whole convey a similar deep rooted want to discover the vocation we were destined to do, to be glad and to carry on with an existence of significance. We want to be where every lady can flourish and have any kind of effect. Much obliged to you for going along with us in this excursion and we cannot hold back to perceive what occurs straightaway! Love, Anna Runyan P.S. We are likewise eager to announce new open doors for visitor patrons and understudies in the event that you are intrigued! ??

Open Letter To Hiring Managers
Open Letter To Hiring Managers Hi candidate here. Thanks for the opportunity to apply to a job at your company. And thanks for the invitation to interview with you. And thanks for the second invitation to interview with your team. It was really quite fun much more fun than applying to more jobs and not hearing back at all. It was fun to talk about my skills, projects, background, experience, and be back in my comfort zone. It was fun to talk to professionals who have jobs and salaries and benefits and feel comfortable with their professional life. It was fun to talk shop and feel like I could stay up with the conversation, even contribute. I do have something Id like to share with you, though. Some of the questions you asked were clearly based on some unfounded assumptions about me. I addressed those questions but I could tell from your body language that you already had created your own answer for me, and no matter what my answer was, you had already made judgement about me that I wasnt going to be able to get around. The whole process started to feel fake. Why did you even bring me in? Why let me get this far? The icing on the cake was the generic, soulless, impersonal weve decided to go with someone else. Well keep your resume in our file rejection letter. All the smiles, the warmth, the personal touch, and then BAM! Did I become the enemy? Why go from personal and happy-to-see-me to Ciao Prisoner two-four-six-oh-one!? I thought that perhaps we could have had a friendly, professional relationship. No, not BFFs. Im not going to harass you, ask you to lunch too often, or even email you much. But if we met up at a networking meeting, I would come say hi and see how things are going. If I heard of something that would benefit you, I would want to share it with you. But that last goodbye showed me that really, I was just a number to you. None of the smiley stuff meant anything. You stopped caring about me, even though I was good enough to make it through a few interviews, once you picked one person (who will probably not be on your team in two years). Oh well. I guess thats the game. Pretend we are great buddies during this interview process, but if it doesnt work out, then theres an uncomfortable silent agreement between you and I that no, Im not allowed to communicate with you. I certainly cant ask you for feedback, which you wont give. I have to figure out that I, as a professional, just have to suck it up, pretend it never happened, and put on my best smile for the next interview. Fake, yes, but thats the game. These are the rules you set up. And it sucks to be on this side. I hope that when (not if) you are on this side you can see how stupid the rules are, and next time you are hiring, you can be humane and treat your candidates with dignity, even if you dont choose to hire them. The Magic Button
The Magic Button Have you ever wished that there were a magic button you could push to get through to someone? Youâd be in the middle of a difficult and frustrating conversation, where nothing was clicking, and suddenly, with one touch, your message would come across and you can hear and be heard. That button might be closer than you think. There are two essential communication skills that will help you connect with coworkers, potential employers, and even strangers. These skills will shorten conflicts and may even prevent them. According to Dr. Rick Brinkman and Dr. Rick Kirschner, authors of Dealing with People You Canât Stand, conflict occurs when we focus on our differences instead of what we have in common. Their book is focused on how to connect and work with someone who thinks very differently from you. Drs. Rick and Rick write that you must first blend with someone â" convince them that you are like them â" before you can redirect their thoughts or actions. Blending can be a verbal or non-verbal process. You blend verbally by finding things you have in common: liking the same foods or movies, attending the same church or school, or having acquaintances in common. You also blend when you ask someone for their opinion (âIâm thinking that Iâm in the mood for a cheeseburger; what about you?â) or validate what theyâre feeling (âI agree â" itâs freezing in here!â) These examples sound trivial, but they have a measurable impact on your relationships. Non-verbal blending signals can be equally powerful. When someone is expressing pain, joy, surprise, or any strong emotion, we often mirror their expression. When we want to connect with a young child, we kneel down to put ourselves at their level. When someoneâs posture indicates that theyâre energized or tense, we mirror their body language. Mirroring is an ancient instinct, and one that indicates that youâre empathetic and connected to the other person. Itâs essential in the healthy development of babies and young children, and I would argue that itâs essential to all healthy relationships. Drs. Rick and Rick write ââ¦there is no middle ground. Consciously or consciously, people want to know âare you with me or not?â You come across as being on common ground or worlds apart.â What that tells me is that you may think youâre being neutral, but youâre almost never perceived as being so. Youâre either being warm and supportive, or youâre against me. Boy, does that explain a lot of the misunderstandings from my work life. The next step is redirection â" getting a difficult person (someone who is in conflict with you) off their unproductive rant and on to a more productive course. The idea is to defuse their anger so you can really discuss the issue and come to a solution. Drs. Rick and Rick say that the first step in redirection is tactful interruption. Break into the rant with polite repetition (be patient; it may take a while.) âExcuse me, Glenda. Excuse me, Glenda. Glenda, please listen for a moment.â Eventually, your polite repetition will wear down the ranter and help her wind down enough to listen. Then itâs your turn. Speak your truth. âFrom where I stand, this is an issue of process, not intent.â State your perception calmly and quietly. Remind the ranter of your common goal and offer a solution that might work for you both. It may take some gentle toughness to command her attention long enough to speak. One example in Dealing with People You Canât Stand was masterful. A customer service agent at the airportâs lost luggage counter was besieged after a series of flights were changed or cancelled. One passenger was raging at her as if she had personally decided to lose his luggage and make him miserable. Despite her best and most skillful attempts to appease him and help him, he continued to berate her. Finally, she quietly set her pen down and looked him right in the eye. When she had his attention, after a long pause, she said, âSir, there are only two people standing at this counter who could possibly care about the future of your baggage.â She paused to let that sink in. âAnd frankly, sir, one of them is rapidly losing interest.â He was putty in her hands after that. Magic.
